Mission

The mission of Mental Health America of Hawai`i is to promote mental wellness, prevent mental illnesses/substance abuse, reduce stigma and improve the overall care, treatment and empowerment of those with mental illnesses – children, adults, elders and their families. We do this by developing new programs, connecting people to the services they need, and advocating for improvements in treatment for people with mental illnesses.
